Client Social Security number should be on every page of each proof doc

• Rollovers are not included in income, but you still show proof of rollover
• Canceled checks cannot be used as proof of rent paid
• Create File for client that includes:
  • PA-40 & PA-Sch B (If applicable)
  • Proof of Age: If first time filer
  • All Income with Proof:
    • Social Security
    • Pension Income
    • Interest and dividend
    • Capital Gains
    • Net business income/loss

If Homeowners:

• Copy of tax bill marked PAID by tax collector
• Front and Back of Cancelled Checks that paid it
• or-
• Year-end mortgage statement showing taxes paid from escrow

If Renters:

• Schedule RC
• or -
• Rent Receipts: Full Amount Paid, Landlord Signature, Client Name & Full Address
